Here is a Thrustmaster File for your playing pleasure! Basically all you have to do is place this file into your Thrustmaster Strokes Setup Folder within the Preferences Folder of the System Folder. Got it?@#! The path is System Folder:Preferences:ThrustMaster Strokes Setup.
When you begin to play the Shockwave Demo, remember to set the preferences for the keys as follows:
(1) Up: Keypad 8
(2) Down: Keypad 5
(3) Left: Keypad 4
(4) Right: Keypad 6
(5) Laser Cannon: Right Arrow
(6) Missle Launch: Down Arrow
(7) Special: Up Arrow
(8) Thrust: Left Arrow
(9) Click the box: Use Mouse for Control
Make sure that it is named the same name as the Shockwave Demo. If it still doesn't work, run the ThrustMaster Strokes program and select Shockwave Demo. Next, select "new application" in the same scrollable menu (at the bottom) and find the demo. This should make it work. Save the changes, quit, and run the demo.
If it still doesn't work, try deleting the Shockwave Demo preference file in the preference folder within the system folder. Run the demo and redo the keyboard preference map (from above).
For those who have multiple resolution monitors, you may want to check the automatic monitor resolution changer. Although its a neat feature, the programmers at ThrustMaster need to develop a better ThrustMaster Dog to recognize and store multiple resolution settings.
